SOCCEROOS LEGEND TONY VIDMAR VISITS COERVER® COACHING ACT

The players at the Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy were lucky to have special guest former Socceroo Tony Vidmar attend a recent training session to share his experiences and provide advice and encouragement to the players.

The Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy players had plenty of questions for the Socceroos legend, and were quick to line up for photos and autographs.

Tony represented Australia at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and made 76 appearances for the Socceroos, putting him in the Top 10 most capped Socceroos of all time. Tony’s professional football career spanned 19 years, making 448 club appearances, most notably for the Glasgow Rangers in Scotland. More recently Tony has been the Head Coach of the FFA Centre of Excellence program and National U-17 Football Team, whom he took to the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
